As a part of celebration of week-long 41st Social Service Day, ACN is also participating in the celebration organizing various events. On 24th Sept 2020 we have provided education materials; stationeries and uniforms to government school students. So far, we have provided 18 students out of 800.
Similarly, On 25 Sept. 2020 Asal Chhimekee Nepal (ACN) and Pokhara Christian Community (PCC) have jointly organized a Discussion program titled, ”Role of Christian Community in Process of Social transformation”.
The program moderated by Mr. Rajendra Kumar Adhikari (ACN executive director). Three thematic experts facilitated the program; Dr. Kamal Phuyal facilitated the session “role of ACN and PCC in community transformation”, Mr. Ganga Datta (Prem) Subedi facilitated the session “role of the church in social service and Dr. Budhi Bahadur Thapa has briefed the overall program. Lastly the program concluded by Mr. Hariram Ghimire (Chairman of PCC). The program went very well. Some of the participants asked questions to facilitators and answered by the facilitators.
Altogether, there were 80 participants from ACN executive board members, staff, and PCC representative leaders, among them, 50 participants from virtual online.
